This Mellow Mushroom location really rocks it. I come here way more often than I should. The food (salads, subs, pizzas, pretzels, etc.) is always consistent and never disappoint. In addition to good food this location has a lot of craft beers on draft, in bottles, and cans. They will also fill your growler for you. They are constantly changing out their drafts, so you can usually find something new on tap each week. This makes it great for their beer club that I'm a proud member of. After 100 different beers you get a really cool mug with your name (or whatever you want) on it, a t-shirt, a free pizza, a coozie, and your name on the 100 Beer Club picture hanging in the restaurant. But why stop at 100 since there is an even cooler mug you get after 200 different beers. They even go all the way up to the prestigious 500 beer club where you are immortalized on a plaque behind the wall. So you have kids and the beer club really isn't for you? Well you are covered there too. Kids eat free on Monday nights at this Mellow Mushroom. This location is also a great spot to catch you favorite team playing on one of the many televisions throughout the restaurant. They also have live music on the patio during the summer on the weekend; where they have a variety of different local musicians playing. There is also trivia and bingo year round during the week. If all this isn't enough, the staff at this location is SUPER! They are one of the most important reasons we keep coming back. We usually sit at the bar and are taken great care of by Molly, Erica, Stephanie, and Sarah. They are just awesome bartenders that polite, friendly, and know their stuff. All in all, this Mellow rocks! It offers a little something for everyone.

Pricey but love love LOVE the pizza. I'm vegan and they do a great job of following instructions on specialty orders. The service is usually slow, but that's to be expected to a certain extent in a pizza joint. Love the outdoor seating and so do our dogs!

Do you want great pizza and a friendly atmosphere? This place is exactly where you want to go! What you see is what you get, great service, great food, fun original designs. Take the family out for a great meal. Go to the Mellow, you won't be disappointed.

Speciality pizza was very good. Fresh toppings good crust. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I'd visit them again.

I was incredibly excited to eat here. The pictures of the interior and the menu made this place seem amazing. However, my experience here was not that amazing. Yes, the atmosphere, decor, and overall theme of the restaurant is great, there were some major downfalls. I am a vegan and I was excited to hear that this place had vegan options. However, when I asked our server about them she didn't know about them. We finally figured out what we could order and got a large vegan pizza and a vegan calzone. When it came out, it was very underwhelming. The pizza did not look like a large. We were told later on that it was a medium and that the gluten free crust, which was the vegan crust, only comes in a medium. The crust was also overcooked, it was crispy to say the least. The calzone was better, but the ingredients were unevenly distributed. The one positive about this experience is the service was good and our waitress was nice and answered our questions when she could and went to management when she couldn't. I still have high hopes for this place and would go back. If I did, I'm pretty sure that the regular crust is vegan without the brushing of butter and sprinkle of parmesean.

Sat for 15 minutes without being approached by the servers who walked past our table multiple times. Being a Service Industry Professional myself; this is unacceptable. I have heard great things but I guess tonight is not my night for the Mel

Mellow pizza is OK. The crust is thick and a bit sweet for my taste. As a side note their dough must have soy in it since I am sensitive to soy flour and I always have a reaction after eating there. This is not the case with most other pizza places. Too bad. Soy flour is a cheap filler found in inexpensive hot dog and hamburger buns as well. Bread is supposed to be wheat...stop adding soy to everything!

I know plenty of people that swear by the Mushroom but I have yet to experience anything outstanding. The decor is fun and gives the place a nice vibe and I can usually find a couple of good beers available but the service and the food are very meh to me. I've waited over an hour for a Caesar salad before, been served cold meatballs and doughy pizza. The pizza creations are creative but the flavors never seem to live up to the idea. I'm not sure if it's the preparation or the ingredients. If you want a fun place to have a kids bday party than I would recommend this place. If you're wanting good pizza, I would look elsewhere.

Mellow isn't my favorite type of pizza but it is good. I prefer more of an Italian thin crust variety but the thicker sweeter crust is a nice change of pace every once in a while. The pizza is very doughy and heavy, a little goes a long way. I like some of the other locations better mainly based on the buildings themselves but the product seems to be consistent across the board. I do like that they will allow you to do half and half with any specialty pizza so, if you want variety, you can order a large split instead of two smalls. My only real complaint is the price. A large with toppings will run you about $25.00. Pizza should be a cheap and sharable dinner option. If dinner for two is gonna cost $50-$75 I just assume to go somewhere else where we can choose entrees instead of sharing a pizza.

I had Mellow Mushroom pizza for dinner last night. I have to say that is was good, but it did not rock my boat. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The prices are reasonable. It is a good place to take kids, they have a kids menu. In addition to their red sauce pizza, they also have a white pizza that has provolone, feta and mozzarella on it. I went with family and shared the pizza they ordered. The next time I go I think I would like to try their Holy Shitake Pie. It has different types of onions, carmelized onions and black truffle oil. Yum. If it is as good as it sounds my 3 stars may go up to 4 or 5.

I'm definitely a fan. I have noticed some variation in the quality of salads, for instance, but overall, I think it is great choice for informal dining. I'm not sure I have ever had a bad wait-person. Friendly and helpful. If you are into beer (which I'm not) they do seem to have a good selection. My last two visits (in the past 7 days) have been excellent--food and service.

We love going to lunch here. There is outside seating to help you relax out the office while you are on lunch break. It's not just a pizza place. All of the food is great, including sandwiches. Service is quick & staff is friendly. Great place for a one hour lunch break.

Pretty awesome pizza. Always a favorite. Great beer selection too. I usually get a calazone at these places bc they make a mean one, skipped that this time and went with some pizza. Wife had some kinda spicy chicken ranch mexican salad with beans and corn....pretty awesome I'll have to say. If you're going to get a salad at a pizza joint, this is the way too go. Pretzel app..not sure if this is a new thing or I just never noticed it before. Not bad, not great. They have 3 different kinds and we got one of each. The parmesan one was definitely the best. As for the pizza this time we went with the Holy Shiitake. And holy shiitake indeed, that's a good pie. A little bit fancy, a lotta bit delicious. Service at this location was a little subpar, but I think it might have just been our server in particular. Had to be reminded about stuff we asked for. Brought the bill before I even had a chance to order a second beer, which I did anyway.

Was excited to try this place...so I headed there on the way home from work...to pick up some dinner fixins... Picked the Holy Shiitake Pie...crust was okay...not the best I ever had...and the over all taste of the pie was good...but it was oily...and haha...not many shrooms...pizza is a cheap product...so kick it up...I felt the prices were steep for what i got...flavors were good...smelled killer...but geeze louise a BIG downer... To top it off... (Pun intented!) I wanted a salad...so they encourage you to build your own....haha... little did I know it was going to be over 15 dollars... never again...was about 3 cups..believe me it was good ...skimpy with the building items...surely not worth the PRICE...and I wanted to be polite so paid for it... never again... Staff was nice...place funky fun I like that...but there are better pie places around...

Kitchen must have been extra hot because several employees were noticeably sweating through their shirts, which made us lose our appetites. Waitress also didn't refill our drinks until they were bone-dry.

I honestly don't know why my friends and I don't come here as a normal happy hour spot or for a nice group dinner. Right when you walk in a greeter will walk you to your table and you will notice the really cool decor and friendly vibe this place gives off. After my friend and I were sat, our server came over immediately to take our drink order. She was very sweet, helpful and attentive during our entire visit. They have a huge selection of specialty beers that you generally never see anywhere else. So so many to choose from. That's a plus. We ordered the bruschetta app which was fantastic! I can't rave about it enough. They load it with seasoned minced tomato's and feta cheese. If you come here, you must give it a try, I honestly could have just had this for dinner! After that, we decided to order the house special pizza. It's your typical special that has the usual veggies and meats on it. The pizza was good and the crust is very good. I would have liked them be a little more generous with the toppings though and have to say that the prices are a tad higher then I think would be fare. But I can't wait to go back for a beer and the bruschetta! Yummy!

I have never had a bad, or even a good pizza from Mellow. Each time, it's been great and today was no exception. I realized after I had parked the car and taken a seat at the bar that Monday was "kids night" and it was just too much hassle to find somewhere else. Good service from the bartender, I opted to stay seated there for my pizza which arrived about 15 minutes later, fresh and hot. A "small" pie, it was cut into corners and well topped with chicken and roasted red peppers and onions. Not especially greasy either, which does sometimes happen with certain toppings. The crust was flaky and delicate - more like a "pan" than a "thin" if such things matter to you. I think the price was a little high, but it was good pizza and I think it was worth it. Good outside seating area for the warmer weather but not much of a view there except for Highway 17. Lots of trees, so not much sunshine either.

Mellow Mushroom has always had my favorite pizza in town! Though I've eaten here a bunch in the past, my roommate most recently brought home a small mega veggie for me (um, can I give her 5 stars while I'm rating things?). As usual, it was awesome with great sauce and soft Parmesan crust. My other go-to is the Caesar pizza which is amaaazing! I'm not really a huge fan of the sandwiches but everything else (pretzels, salads, calzones, etc) are consistently great. Service and atmosphere are nice. Go get yourself a cold draft beer and pizza!
(4)
Brittany H.
As Samantha I. pointed out, Mellow really does have some of the best pizza in town. I know it's technically a chain, but their mouthwatering crust keeps me coming back time and time again! Everything I've tried with them (from their house calzone to, my personal favorite, the Kosmic Karma pizza), has yet to disappoint. But don't worry about offending their culinary genius if you'd like to make substitutions to one of their dishes or completely create your own meal from scratch. A large specialty pie runs about $25, and it's more than enough to share with friends! If you're there for lunch, split a small pie and salad with a friend for a lighter fare. I promise it'll hit the spot!

If you're within 50 miles of this location, you must stop. The pizza is so incredibly good that I might stop going to other pizza places because it's THAT GOOD. We got the red skin potato pie and it has all the toppings of a loaded baked potato, but on a pizza. And it tastes just as good as it sounds. Also love the atmosphere, staff and everything about it. Great place to order specialty beer as well. We not only got a pizza to eat, we also got one to take home, because we don't live close to the location. Amazing.

Family wanted pizza and this was something that we don't have in California. I was a bit hesitant because it looks like a hippy place to eat. The whole mushroom thing and being on drugs theme didn't really suit me well. But it's a family restaurant. Came in and got seated right away. The booths are really, really tight. If you do happen to have a gut, you are not going to squeeze in. The bar looked fully stocked and there were a bunch of beers and craft beers to choose from. As for the pizza, get the Holy Shitake Mushroom. It's awkward saying since we had kids around us, but that's what it is on their menu and you should get it. It was cheesy and full of mushrooms. The sauce resembled an alfredo sauce perhaps? Not sure, but it was good. Also got the House pizza, which is pretty much a supreme pizza. The buffalo pizza was great as well. It was trivia night so it was a bit noisier that I would have expected, but not obnoxious. Great pizza! Great service! It can be hard to find since it's right off Hwy 17 in the woods. Not deep into the woods. It's accessible off of Hwy 17, but you can easily miss it.

Only had the pizza here once but it seemed very doughy compared to the standard MM recipe. All bread. No thanks, there's too many other pizza places out there.

I've eaten there many times. Tonight was great. Had the mighty meaty and pretzels. They have a variety of beers on the menu. The pizza was way hot. The service could not have been better. Supper crowded and nosy. 30 minute wait. All those people can't be wrong. Great place to eat and drink.

Been to many mellow mushroom locations. This one has to be the worst of them. We sat at the bar on valentines day. Noticed that although there were families waiting up front for a long time, there were open tables in many places that were just not filled in a timely manner. My biggest issue was with the bartenders. We found out after we ordered that they were running a special for dinner. We found out cause the people next to us left and we finally saw the card with the promo. There were also some very intoxicated men at the end of the bar. Which, is fine for a bar, but this place caters much more to families so there were a lot of kids around. It was very clear the bartenders were chummy with them as the one that was serving us sat down and had dinner with them after her shift. What was the icing on the cake was after that particular bartender finished her shift, the bartender that took over was clearly not interested in serving us. There were 10 people at the bar (I counted) and it took 10 minutes to get refills cause she was more interested in chatting with her friends. This place could do so much better. I like the pizza, but if I have to, I'd rather go somewhere a bit more well run.

Food is really good but they truly failed tonight. Waitress is trying to make us feel better but the order has been for over an hour. Only way to save it now is for there to be some kindly discount. Will post an update if it happens but I suspect it will not.

I'm a Celiac so came here to try their custom made, special gluten free crust which was promised to be made in a separate area. Awesome! However, they make it with bean flour, and let me tell you, it tastes like it. It was literally THE WORST gluten free food I've ever had, pizza or otherwise. It was unbelievably bad. Kind of tasted like a wet sock that'd been in the laundry hamper too long. Mellow Mushroom, you definitely have the right idea offering a GF crust, but consider ordering from Venice Bakery or wherever the majority of restaurants get their GF crust from? The search for a decent GF pizza in Charleston continues!

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. MM, I want to like you, and I think I do, but maybe I don't like how much it costs to go out with you. There is no way to escape paying a good amount of money for a pizza - while it's great, I have a hard time being okay with that considering you can go to Brixx or hell, grab a flatbread at Coleman Public House for seriously, $10 cheaper. We had some Antichrists sat behind us (just because I have my kid, doesn't me you have to sit my quiet Gemini right next to these crazed villains. Good grief). Service was nice...and mellow. Har har.

I've been to the downtown location many times but never this one until last night. The service was excellent! The food is great too. I also enjoy the large beer selection they have.

The pizza here is pretty good, though pricey, even compared to a lot of the more frou-frou pizza places in Jersey. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but it was something like the white pizza base, with pesto, and probably meatballs and mushrooms. I think it came to something like $24, and that was for like a 12" pie! They do have a pretty good beer menu, though. It looks highly seasonal, and it seems as though they rotate their tap availability pretty frequently. The biggest complaint I have about the place is ambiance. It's super trippy inside, and you can bring a young child here, even one not as good as our son, without disturbing people, but it's just a bit weird. We were there during "Rockin' Bingo," which seemed like fun, but it was a hippie guy saying the names of random bands every couple minutes. I mean, even stoners don't speak this slow!

Beyond Bad Service. Tried MM for the first time tonight-- the service was incredibly slow despite nearly o one in the restaurant. On the menu, you can make your own pizza which I did, and under the "cheeses" section I selected Blue Cheese. When the pizza arrived some 25 minutes later, there were gobs of blue cheese dressing on my pizza. I returned it and the manager came out and said they did have blue cheese but some people like blue cheese dressing. Hmm, Under "cheeses" the menu had mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, etc--none of which are oily salad dressings. AFter another 35 minutes, a new pizza appeared but bu that time everyone else in my party had finished their meals long ago and we just left. No one else thought he pizza was great, either. Will definitely not return.

Worth. Every. Penny. It doesn't even seem like it should be legal, how good their pizza is! My soul literally melts when I eat this savory Italian masterpiece! MUST-EATS: Mighty Meaty, Philosopher's Pie, & Holy Shitake. I've NEVER been disappointed by any of their pizzas, but those are the TO-DIE-FORS! If you go between 11-3 you can order pizza by the slice, so you can try more at once! They have a Beer Club, which is great, since I love a place that offers a quality craft beer selection! From my understanding, every location differs on how many beer it takes to qualify - but at this particular one, it takes 200 beers to reach the accomplishment of receiving your own personally engraved beer mug that they keep at the bar & bust out when you show up! Plus beer in your personal mug is cheaper priced than average! awesome!

Pizza, available in gluten free AND vegetarian/vegan options, along with a great beer selection (yes, GF, too), a fun atmosphere, and great music?? Does this really exist? Yep. Multiple locations, too. I've been to the one in Mt. Pleasant and the one in Summerville. Both are great, but I'm partial to the Mt. Pleasant one because it's closer to home and the environment is fun and even a little rowdy (in a good way). You won't have a quiet romantic meal here, but you will get great food served in an entertaining atmosphere! Check 'em out!

Wait staff were really friendly and competent and I can't stop thinking about the Kosmic Karma, which for a pizza with six toppings, is perfectly executed. Plenty of bright pesto, mellow garlic undertone and deep tomato flavor.

Fast, kind, service. Sports bar but without so much of the "bar" vibe, which was nice. I got the gluten free pizza, which was very good. It was nice to see all the ingredients right there on the menu, and the GF menu is built right into the regular. The crust itself was a tier above what you'd get at California Pizza Kitchen or pick up at the supermarket, but very thin. I like thin crust so this wasn't a problem for me but I'm sure people who are used to deep dish wouldn't find this satisfying. (Although definitely a lighter option calorie wise compared to thick pizza.) The toppings were excellent, great sauce/cheese ratio, I got the type with Pesto and tomato. Lots of toppings to choose and unique combos. Their veggie pizza looked good. I went with my father who ordered a salad, which was made fresh and a substantial meal for those who are watching their caloric intake, but have friends who decidedly are not. Definitely recommend, I'll be finishing my pizza for breakfast tomorrow ;)

We ordered the medium House Pizza, simply outstanding. The brownie is a must have. The service was great and the atmosphere was adequate for the family. I highly recommend this place. i will definitely go back to the Mount Pleasant store.

First, let me state the obvious- not real pizza. Secondly the place is trippy. You go in and you're like "woahhhh dude." The beer selection is very good! Nice selection of craft beers! Food is good. Nothing to write home about (but enough to write on Yelp about). I've had better authentic food, but at the same time I've had significantly worse food. If you like fake pizza (which the majority of Americans do), go here because you'll enjoy it. Otherwise go here for their other food.

Spent a hot summer's day doing all the local sightseeing (Yorktown, etc.) and we were beat. Wanted something simple and straightforward that didn't require more than casual dress. This place was a trip - something out of the psychadelic sixties for sure! We were there on a Saturday night and it was hopping - lots and lots of families with kids. We were seated pretty quickly and ordered pizzas (of course!). However, we also ordered an appetizer because we were really hungry and wanted something quickly. We ordered their pretzel knots - OMG these were absolutely fabulous!! Soft, buttery, garlicy, sprinkled with parmesan - we could not get enough of these! I wish I lived near a Mellow Mushroom just so we can have these again and again they were that good! Pizza was great too - thinner crust, more on the lines of a NY style pizza. We honestly didn't want to leave the food was so good. It really hit the spot! There is no doubt we would eat here again.

I became a Mellow Mushroom fan thanks to their Greenville, SC franchise, so while in Mt. Pleasant, I wanted to try this new location. It's clean with funky decorations--boyfriend liked the painting of the Cooper River Bridge in space. We went at lunchtime on a weekday, so the restaurant was fairly empty; nonetheless, the service was solid and we had no problems. I like MM's pizza because, to me, it really tastes different than pizza I get anywhere else. Perhaps you could call it "Southern style pizza!" The crust is slightly thicker than NY style, a bit more chewy than crunchy, and quite tasty. My favorite specialty pizza is the Gourmet White. It's so flavorful and the sun-dried tomatoes really put it over the top. The Garlic Parmesan Pretzels are also a favorite, and the beer selection is great. Mellow is more expensive than average for pizza, but you're paying for a different dining experience than you would get at just any old pizza joint. Although there are now dozens of Mellow Mushroom locations, this restaurant still manages to retain a local feel and provide a fun atmosphere with appetizing eats.

The name of this place made me skeptical of trying it but it is now definetly one of my favorite pizza places. The atmosphere was funky but cool and the food was delicious. I had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing!!! The staff was very friendly and they had trivia night while we were there which was fun. The only negative review I have is that it took a while to get a seat but the wait was worth the food! If you love pizza this is definetly a place you should try!

Have enjoyed Mellow Mushroom since first having it in college. Good pizza, great calzones and lots of beers to choose from( not a beer drinker though). It's absolutely a family atmosphere early in the day thru early evening. Never had a bad experience. However, if u truly want the best NY pizza try Vincents pizzaria right off 17N near Park West. These guys are from NY and do it right-large slices with the oils dripping off.

I have never been that impressed with the Mellow Mushroom in Columbia but the pizza here (we just had standard pepperoni) was quite good. I like thicker more doughy crust so maybe that is was did it. The wait staff was very nice. Only found this place through Yelp as we were staying at Wild Dunes in Isle of Palms. Good place to eat if you are in the area. They have some pretty cool beers on tap as well. The location seems to be very new.

Started going to trivia here every Tuesday. The first thing that struck me was the amazing beer selection! There is a huge list of beer here, and they have a beer club you can join, which is pretty cool. The annoying thing about the drink menu is that its never current, and the wait staff never knows whats on draft, but for me that's just a testament on how good their beer selection is. Unfortunately, the drinks could be a little cheaper. I usually spend about $10 on only two beers (granted, they are imports and its pretty cool to try all the different ones). As for the food, I've not had a bad meal here. The wait staff is always great, and usually food comes out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend it, and will keep going back.

I had never been to a MM and I was with a group of staunch supporters. Our group went early on a Thursday evening and there was no wait for my group of 4. I was thoroughly impressed with the booklet of beers they had on tap and in bottles. The music selection was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect for pizza. My husband and I shared a pizza and a salad and I don't think I've had better pizza in a LONG time. We made our own concoction and the crust was perfect and we devoured the entire pie! After a few more beers we decided to order their "pretzels" which are more like knotted pizza dough. They come with different toppings and sauce and were all delicious. I could have had a meal of that, perfect for consuming multiple deliciously hoppy beers. I could have eaten here many more times on our trip. Unfortunately my companions wanted to expand the restaurant selection. MM is a chain but it isn't commercialized. The service is great and food is worth a trip where ever you might be traveling. Sadly, we live in a location that doesn't have a MM close by so I must continue to pine for Mellow Mushroom until the next time I travel......

Good pizza, for the thin crust genre. Cool place with the 100-beer club. A little pricey, but still a nice change from run of the mill piza places.

Of the pizza I've tried in Mt Pleasant, it's one of the best. Sat at the bar. Good service. Lots of beers to choose from. Cool atmosphere. Can get busy with families. I will definately go back.

The Philosophers Pie is my favorite and it's so much easier to get my MM in now it's on the other side of the Cooper River. Beer is great and I've done take out without any problems. I must admit though it doesn't beat Lou Malnati's Pizza up in Chicago.....I have no shame about that either. They do deliver from this location for a whopping order of $150, which I thought was a typo, and it's not my lazy rear is getting up to go pick it up.

perfect for families. good tunes, awesome beer selection, sports on tvs, outside seating, and best gourmet pizza in the area. this franchise takes care of the local community. lots of local high school students as hostess. you cant go wrong at this shroom.

The magic of the whole wheat crust works wonders when consumed with beer. I had a cheese pizza with Bud Light and it was an outstanding flavor combination. When they pile on the toppings this is perhaps pizza as good as it comes in the area; a real gourmet delight The whole wheat crust is more dense than other pizza crust and provides the diner with a very mouth filling experience. Very much a beer lovers pizza. It is not, however, NY style because of the flour and density difference but parallel in appearance.

YAY for Mellow Mushroom coming to Mt. Pleasant! Thank you Thank you! Went here on a Friday night with my boyfriend and the place was jamming. Every family, couple, and group of Mt. Pleasant yuppies were there. The wait was 40-45 minutes long so we just stalked people at the bar until we got a spot. Great choice because the lively atmosphere was fun to watch. I hadn't been to MM downtown in years so I didn't remember what the food tasted like. Now I can't believe I've been missing this pizza because I've been too lazy to head downtown. We started with the pretzels which were worth every carb and then shared a pineapple and ham pizza. (SO GOOD) If you haven't been, which I can't imagine, they have a beer selection of like 200 brews so you can never say they don't have something for you. If anything, they have TOO many choices. In our case the bartender was well versed and helped us make a great choice. This will definitely be one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Mt. P!

We went to Mellow Mushroom for the Tuesday Night Trivia and had a great time. We ordered two pizzas, the veggie and the buffalo chicken, and they were both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The beer selection is amazingly diverse, and the atmosphere is hippie, Deadhead, and giant mushroom themed all over. The service was good, and the trivia guy was nice. All around great experience.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Stephan C.

(2)Travis R.

(2)Scotty C.
(3)Liz S.
(3)Donald W.
(4)Charlene M.
We love going to lunch here. There is outside seating to help you relax out the office while you are on lunch break. It's not just a pizza place. All of the food is great, including sandwiches. Service is quick & staff is friendly. Great place for a one hour lunch break.
(4)Derek B.
(4)Sally H.
(3)Chris H.
Kitchen must have been extra hot because several employees were noticeably sweating through their shirts, which made us lose our appetites. Waitress also didn't refill our drinks until they were bone-dry.
(2)Blake F.
Yummy!
(4)Bruce K.
(4)Samantha I.
(4)Brittany H.

Amazing.
(5)Jake C.
Food was really good service was great, but it did take a while for the food to come out
(4)Chuck H.
Great food and service. Monday night is kids nights where they eat for free. The bar has a great craft beer menu.
(5)S S.
(3)Aaron S.
Only had the pizza here once but it seemed very doughy compared to the standard MM recipe. All bread. No thanks, there's too many other pizza places out there.
(2)Kim B.
(5)Lauren B.
(2)Tim W.
Food is really good but they truly failed tonight. Waitress is trying to make us feel better but the order has been for over an hour. Only way to save it now is for there to be some kindly discount. Will post an update if it happens but I suspect it will not.
(2)Amanda A.
(2)Meghan C.
Har har.
(3)Jennie S.
I've been to the downtown location many times but never this one until last night. The service was excellent! The food is great too. I also enjoy the large beer selection they have.
(5)JR C.
(2)Andrew F.

Plus beer in your personal mug is cheaper priced than average! awesome!
(5)Sandy S.
(4)Grant S.
Wait staff were really friendly and competent and I can't stop thinking about the Kosmic Karma, which for a pizza with six toppings, is perfectly executed. Plenty of bright pesto, mellow garlic undertone and deep tomato flavor.
(5)Danielle D.
(4)Cesar L.
We ordered the medium House Pizza, simply outstanding. The brownie is a must have. The service was great and the atmosphere was adequate for the family. I highly recommend this place. i will definitely go back to the Mount Pleasant store.
(5)Tristan B.
(3)Janis W.
(5)Kelly J.
(4)Colleen M.
(5)C T.
(4)Ted N.
(4)Andrew W.
(5)Emily M.
(5)Steve W.
Good pizza, for the thin crust genre. Cool place with the 100-beer club. A little pricey, but still a nice change from run of the mill piza places.
(4)sarah c.
Of the pizza I've tried in Mt Pleasant, it's one of the best. Sat at the bar. Good service. Lots of beers to choose from. Cool atmosphere. Can get busy with families. I will definately go back.
(4)Amy K.
(4)David W.
perfect for families. good tunes, awesome beer selection, sports on tvs, outside seating, and best gourmet pizza in the area. this franchise takes care of the local community. lots of local high school students as hostess. you cant go wrong at this shroom.
(4)Casual O.
(5)Debbie K.
Awesome place. I love the coloring and the relaxed atmosphere.
(5)Phil M.
The crust on their pizza is great, the sauce is good, not to sweet. But the price is a little high. Overall a good place to eat.
(3)Morgan S.
(5)Lungfish L.

Mellow Mushroom has pretty good pizza. Tons of beers to choose from. One of the better pizza places around the Mt. Pleasant area.
